In addition, employees volunteer a large amount of time to other functions within the community such as sitting on local boards, coaching, involvement with schools, Saturday school monitoring, foster care and teaching, to name a few. As a department, we encourage programs designed for citizen involvement and employee community involvement community/citizens and the department's relationship with the community.
