| Essential Functions of the Position | ||
| Controls traffic at designated crossings or intersections in order to ensure the safe crossing of children; instructs children to cross safely at designated crossing or intersection; escorts children in order to ensure safe passage; addresses the behavior of children crossing in order to ensure compliance with traffic regulations. | ||
| Instructs children on traffic laws and regulations, as applicable and appropriate; reports traffic or pedestrian problems or concerns to immediate supervisor or dispatch. | ||
| Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. | ||
